Swan Hill

Our second day in Swan Hill we were up in search of a coffee shop which wasn't too difficult to find and then we went in search of the Information Centre. We didn't have any problems finding this either and the manager of the day was very helpful with information to help us make the most of our time in Swan Hill. We quickly organised our day deciding to visit the Pioneer Village and we were told of a vintage train that was passing through Swan Hill that day at 11.30am so we thought we would come back for that as it was just over the road from the Information Centre and we thought Daniel might be interested in photos of it. Thankfully the tickets for the Pioneer Village give you two day entry and through that time you can come and go as you please. So we went from here to have a bit of a look around Swan Hill and Robb was hoping to find a camping shop in our travels so that we could purchase a privacy screen for the front of the van. We had trouble finding the size we needed for our van but finally settled on one that was a bit bigger and we used velcro to tuck the extra length out of the way. We then drove around town having a bit of a look, over the bridge into NSW and then came back to the beautiful park in the middle of town and spent a bit of time here having a look around. I was most intrigued with the gym equipment that was spread around the park, there were bikes, weight machines and various other equipment and people are able to come and use it at any time, I thought this was a great initiative.
