When driving into Kakadu National Park your first stop is at the Aurora Hotel where we need to purchase your park pass, unless you have purchased it previously. Once we had our pass we were free to roam anywhere we wanted. It is such a beautiful area but our problem was that everywhere you wanted to visit was such a long way to drive or walk or both. Because we only had that one day we decided to visit Yellow Water and have a look around there but first we drove to Jabiru to book our site for the night.
