We stayed at Coomalie the night before so that we could visit Litchfield before driving into Darwin. The drive in to the park was beautiful and there was so much to see without having to drive or walk long distances. Our thoughts were to visit Litchfield on the way up when we had less time and then Kakadu on the way back. However, w
e both wanted to spend longer in Litchfield and could easily have taken another day, we loved the fact that everything in the park was easy to get to without having to drive long distances and the whole area was very scenic.
