We were driving towards Three Ways Roadhouse and decided to take a diversion to visit Tennant Creek while we were up that way. The town is much bigger than I thought but it is obvious they have lots of issues there as every store was covered in security bars. We both felt a bit uncomfortable there so we quickly visited the supermarket to pick up supplies we needed and then we were back in the car to visit the few attractions just outside of town. One of these was Battery Hill and we had just missed Malcolm Turnbull there addressing some of the issues they have in the area, we gather from talking to people and the signs around town this meant they were going to throw money at the town so they could look like they were doing something. It was obvious this is not the solution that the residents wanted.
