Sunset Cruise - Karumba

While in Karumba you have to do some sort of cruise and we had already been on a croc spotting cruise and The Ferryman Sunset Cruise had been recommended to us by a couple of travelers so we made a booking for our first night. We walked down to the jetty at 4.15 pm and I think we returned about 7.30 pm and we paid $60 pp and as part of the cruise we were served drinks and nibbles and plenty of them, we thought this was excellent value for money. The staff were extremely friendly, they all knew the area well and shared information with us about the local bird life and the local history. The cruise was relaxed and if there was something interesting to show us they took the time to turn the boat around for us to have a closer look. They even managed to put on a great sunset for us. I was particularly interested in the local bird life and we saw plenty examples on this cruise and thankfully the crew could name them for us and gave us time to take photos.

We loved this cruise and would highly recommend it to everyone visiting this area.
