We drove from Croydon to Normanton on our way to Karumba. Normanton is a good sized town and we pulled over at the park and I made lunch for the two of us before we drove on to Karumba. There are lots of these little towns spread out through the top end and most are just set up as stop overs for the more popular destinations and I feel that is the story of Normanton.
