This is the Undara Volcanic National Park and the highlight of visiting here is to visit the Lava Tubes. Unfortunately when we arrived we were unable to book a visit to the tubes as they were booked out and we were unable to visit the Kalkani Crater because we were not able to take our vehicle more than 12 kms each way on unmade roads. We thought we would book a tour for the next day but unfortunately we couldn't even get a powered site for the night, just a bit unlucky for this visit. We believe this is a must visit so we have put this on the list for when we return in our own vehicle. We had a quick look around the booking site which is set up well with a restaurant and bar and and the reviews are quite good so we will return.
