Mt. Garnet

When planning our trip Mt. Garnet was somewhere we thought we could stop at overnight, however, when we arrived there wasn't a lot there so we decided to move on a bit. We did call into the Information Centre though and there was a lovely man on duty who was very keen to share the history of the area with everyone who walked through the doors. The centre also served as a small museum so we had a good look around before moving on. Living in a small town I appreciate the enthusiasm of locals to show their town in a good light. I particularly love the sign out the front that looks very much like they added the name of the town in at a later date.
