We took the Skyrail up to Kuranda and then spent some time walking up and down the street and looking in lots of shops before walking back to the hotel for lunch. We were more than ready for a beer so we purchased those first and took them outside to look through the menu. I chose a beef burger and Robb chose the heartstopper advertised on a board near the alfresco dining area where we were sitting. The heartstopper was a beef burger with 3 patties and 4 times the amount of cheese and it came with a schooner. When I ordered the food the barman said I could come back for the schooner later as we already had drinks. The hotel is very open inside and apart from the area we were sitting there is also another deck area across the front of the hotel. When we were ready I walked back in to order the schooner and the barman saw me coming and indicated he would get it for me, great service. Food was excellent and good value and Robb
gave his all to finish the burger but didn't quite get there.
