We had just completed a croc spotting tour and drove to Daintree Village to have a look around. It is indeed just a village but very attractive and built around tourism. We were ready for a cold beer so walked up to the hotel and took a seat outside. Robb went up to purchase our drinks and we sat and watched the world go by in a very pleasant environment. The hotel is at the top end of a long building that seems to have quite a few services, we walked the length and there was a tour office, and a couple of stores and the hotel had a restaurant which also offered take away. We spent a very enjoyable hour sitting sipping our drinks. We left there and then walked around the village, which only took about 10 minutes but it is very pretty as you could imagine it would be in a rainforest.
