Crocs, Crocs and More Crocs

We were heading towards the ferry to cross the Daintree River to drive to Cape Tribulation and there were about 50 cars ahead of us to catch the ferry. I noticed a car park to the side of us and I could see a couple of tour companies advertised so we decided to do a wildlife tour rather than catch the ferry. We turned into the car park and walked towards the offices and someone was at the Solar Whisper office so we stopped there and made inquiries. It turned out they had two spots left on the next tour so we took those two spots and we were so glad we did. Throughout our holiday we took about 4-5 crocodile tours and this was our favourite. We saw lots of crocodiles and they were in the spots they were expected to be so the guide obviously knew the area and we had close encounters with them which was very exciting. The guide was also very informative on the other wildlife and flora in this area and could answer all of our questions. We had a concession rate at $20 each for a one hour tour and we would both highly recommend this tour to everyone heading this way. One of the other tourists asked at one stage if the boat had ever been attacked and apparently it had just where I was sitting and the guide told me if I took my glasses off and looked over the edge at the side of the boat I could see the bite marks, well I don't know about you but this seemed a bit like tempting fate to me.
