Every year we have a family of Kookaburras return to our home. We have so many beautiful birds on our property but I profess to have a bit of a love for these gorgeous creatures. We think they nest down in our dam area and each day we have one sit on our railings on our deck to, we think, make sure we don't disturb their nests. This one looks like a young bird to me so I am hoping he is a produce of previous birds we have had nesting here. I managed to get a photo of him without scaring him off but the later photos are the view from my seat in the lounge room through the blind but I thought if I really liked the view maybe you would too.
