We joined our son Daniel, daughter-in-law Sue, their two girls Grace and Jenna and Sue's parents Bob and Gayle for a family weekend in Hobart. The mission was to visit Port Arthur, Robb and I have been here a few times but it was all unexplored territory for the others. We loved Port Arthur and were happy to return there and loved sharing it with the others. We arrived in Hobart on the Friday night late because our flights were held up, Sue had organised the accommodation so we didn't know much about it but were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Because it was late we all went to our rooms after booking in and because we hadn't eaten Robb and I ordered room service, which was just a toastie and chips but much appreciated. We were in bed soon after finishing our snack because we had to be up early the next morning. Robb and I love Hobart and Tasmania so we were looking forward to driving through the next day and renewing our memories.
