We were going to another cafe for dinner but it was full so we walked around the corner and came across this little jewel. The Trattoria was up a lane way with many others and of course so many people out walking the streets which is something really special about Italy at nighttime. There was one spare table so we very quickly grabbed it because everywhere else looked full. The waiter was very obliging and cleared it quickly and reset it for us and handed us menus. We ordered drinks first while we browsed the menus. The men had beer and my friend and I shared a lovely crisp bottle of wine. Our friends had seafood risotto, my husband scampi and I had the seafood spaghetti. The meals were quite homely but the seafood was fresh with generous serves and all the meals were tasty. We had a gorgeous young waiter who was helpful and went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied with our meals. The inside of the Trattoria was rather attractive with the red checked table clothes and a well stocked bar but it was a balmy night so we preferred to be sitting outside.
