“Great ambiance and easy to access”
We passed this cafe on our return walk from the Trevi Fountain and stopped in for a beer before we continued our walk back to our accommodation. It was a beautiful evening, so that helped but there was a great atmosphere at the outside tables where we sat with lots of activity around us. This is a very popular restaurant and we had to grab a bit of table space where ever we could get it. Service was good with a good range of drinks, the waiters were accommodating and managed to serve the large crowds efficiently. The next night we tried to get a table for dinner when we passed but they were booked out until quite late so my recommendation would be to book ahead for a meal. There was a mime artist over the road from the restaurant and he was quite good so I took his photo and then walked over to give a donation of 2euro. I am not sure of the protocol and happy for anyone to bring me up to date with current trends but this was not enough for him and he was quite persistent in demanding 5euro, I didn't have any money on me so I couldn't do anything about it and I shrugged and walked back to my table.
