This is the second year we have attended this festival and we have enjoyed it both times. It is held at the Loch Railway Station Reserve which is a lovely grass area opposite the Old Loch Railway Station and away from the main street of the town. We parked at the tennis courts/camping area and walked across the old swing bridge and then over to the reserve. There was a great range of stalls - food, wine, cheese, brewery, bread,
sweets, coffee, olive oil and service organisations and easy to access eating areas had been provided. There were also a few presentations you could attend but we chose just to wander the stalls. I sampled many local wines and when we decided to have lunch we chose to sit under the main eating marquis listening to some of our local entertainers strumming and singing some favourite tunes. We made a few purchases to take home and my husband chose a seafood lunch and I chose Vietnamese, we shared our lunch because that is the only way to eat. We also purchased paella to take home for dinner and a sour dough baguette to have with it. So a few places I would like to mention are - Melbourne Paella, Gippsland Wine Company, Prom Country Cheese, UC Food to Go, Vietnam Food House, Bass River Wines and Olive Twist. Some sites to we can recommend are -
