In another life I worked at Windermere Family Day Care in Pakenham in the coordination unit. This was one of my favourite times in my working life,mainly because I worked with some fantastic people and everyday was a joy to arrive at work. We try to catch up regularly, however, over the years it has probably become irregularly but after 15 or more years we still keep these events going and when we do catch up we just fall back into the old camaraderie and the years just fall away. One such occasion was last Friday night at Sages at Parkhill in Berwick. This is a family restaurant but perfect for our needs wanting to fit 20 people on a table. The food we were served was pub food but well cooked and presented and we were all happy with our meals. Just a special mention for the staff, the girl serving us was fantastic and accommodating taking orders and delivering them to the right person, I'm sorry I didn't get her name but all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic night and made all the necessary arrangements for our next catch up.
