Introduction

I don't need to tell you my name, that is obvious. My husband and I are self funded retirees who are making the most of our retirement.

I have set up this blog to substitute for the journal entries I keep on holidays and important events in our life, partly for myself but more to encourage others to get out there and make the most of this special time. It is not always easy for retirees or pensioners to fully appreciate the advantage they have and I am hoping my blogs may be of interest or encouragement to others.
